Telangana additional CEO son (Octopus) G Govind Singh was driving a police vehicle, apparently under the influence of alcohol, and wounded a woman pedestrian Nizampet Tuesday night. He was dominated by locals after the incident and turned over to police.
At 6 pm, Nagamani, 45 years, daily wage worker, was walking on the road in Nizampet when a speeding Mahindra Scorpio (AP 09 PA 74) Kukatpally of Nizampet going to hit her. Nagamani was injured in the incident and locals immediately intercepted the Transport Organization (PTO) Police Scorpio registration number. The mob also caught the young.
People then delivered to the driver of the vehicle, savya sachi a senior engineering Gokaraju Ganga Raju College, the KPHB police. Later, the police confirmed that the errant driver was the son of the head of Telangana Octopus Govind Singh. Police sources also revealed that, when subjected to a breathalyzer test, alcohol content in the blood (BAC) of the offender indicated mg100ml 160 (permissible limit is 30 mg100 ml). When the incident occurred, Savyasachi with their college friends went to a private training institute. "A guard house, which is the driver, was also in the vehicle, but Savyasachi was driving when the accident happened," said a police officer KPHB. Police took into custody Savyasachi and reflecting registering a case under section 337 (causing injuries due to rash or negligent act) of the IPC against him. Gold KPHB inspector V Srikanth said the victim suffered minor injuries and was sent home after treatment in a local hospital as an outpatient. It is not known if Savyasachi have a driver's license and why he was driving it.
