Octopus chief's son held for drunk and drive in Hyderabad

Telangana additional CEO son (Octopus) G Govind Singh was driving a police vehicle, apparently under the influence of alcohol, and wounded a woman pedestrian Nizampet Tuesday night. He was dominated by locals after the incident and turned over to police.

At 6 pm, Nagamani, 45 years, daily wage worker, was walking on the road in Nizampet when a speeding Mahindra Scorpio (AP 09 PA 74) Kukatpally of Nizampet going to hit her. When the incident occurred, Savyasachi with their college friends went to a private training institute. "A guard house, which is the driver, was also in the vehicle, but Savyasachi was driving when the accident happened," said a police officer KPHB. Police took into custody Savyasachi and reflecting registering a case under section 337 (causing injuries due to rash or negligent act) of the IPC against him. Gold KPHB inspector V Srikanth said the victim suffered minor injuries and was sent home after treatment in a local hospital as an outpatient. It is not known if Savyasachi have a driver's license and why he was driving it.
