MS Dhoni completed his first parachute jump from an airplane of the Air Force of India on Wednesday as part of his training with the Territorial Army, the official ODI captain of India he said.
Dhoni is expected to make five jumps after training two weeks spokesman of the Ministry of Defense Sitanshu Kar said before.
Earlier, Dhoni was conferred the honor for his outstanding contribution in the field of sports and his commitment to the Army on several occasions. "It is an honor that I always wanted to be part of the Indian Army. Ha (join the Indian Army) something I always wanted to get as a kid and now I've worn the green olives, my dream has been fulfilled," Dhoni had said then .
