What is SAP?
By definition SAP means "Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing".
SAP AG, is based out of Walldorf, Germany. SAP started developing its ERP (Enterprise Resource Planing) software - SAP R/3 also now known as SAP ECC (Enterprise Central Component). How ever over the years SAP has evolved as single stop solution for all the enterprise needs for large and small scale industries.
It is the leading ERP package in the ERP market. Oracle, another strong player in the ERP market and a strong contender for SAP is giving a tough competition.
Microsoft Dynamics is relatively a new player in the market and it has substantial share of it.
